Getting back on track

It has been a while since I've posted. Things have been busy, we've been in between houses and generally distracted and exhausted. It's been a trying time but Pixel has helped us through the stress.

The good news is that this is nearly over and so our little unplanned hiatus is over too. Finally I can get back to my favourite pass time, spoiling Pixel and reviewing his favourite (or perhaps least favourite products).

I have been thinking for a while about the direction of this blog and what sort of content I want to produce. I want to keep it fun and informative but I think I've put too much pressure on churning out regular reviews so I think they'll become more infrequent, released when I've got something interesting to review.

New and Returning Features

• The Pixel Diaries, a weekly look into the lives of the Smooth Pixelater family will return. It will however move away from dog only stuff and become a diary for our whole family.
• Pixel Reviews will return with a less regular schedule. I'm looking to start doing some giveaways too, and I've been having fun thinking up some competitions.
• The Monthly Treat Box Challenge will return once we have settled into our new home, and our quest to find the greatest treat box continues.
• Treat vs. Treat will also be making a comeback. I had a lot of fun overfeeding Pixel and writing this series which unfortunately got cut short so I'm  excited to bring this back.
• Weekly Round-up is going to be a new series where I post to other interesting blogs that I have read that week.
• Vlogs & Podcasts are something I have expressed interest in before and they are still something I'd like to explore. If anything gets released I'm sure it will be sporadic but it is something I'm interested in trying out and we will just have to see how this all pans out.
